ABOUT FRESH CARNIVAL | WHO ARE WE
In 1983, the Batabano carnival was born out of beautiful Grand Cayman Island. Year after year, the annual celebration grows, not only in size, but in demand, leaving the Caymanian natives hungry for more; more vibes, more fun and more mas!
Olujimi La Pierre, a young entrepreneur & musician, saw an opportunity to give his island something new and 'fresh' to get excited about. Having roots in both Trinidad & Canada, Olujimi partnered with friends & family to create "FRESH Carnival" a new Batabano band with an international appeal. In 2012, the band was officially launched and the people started buzzing!
"FRESH Carnival" is proud to provide people, from all over, the opportunity to experience the Cayman Islands as the paradise it is. The "FRESH" team is always at work finding new ways to keep the celebration going from arrival to departure. When it comes to Batabano, if you play with FRESH you play with the best!
